Oakleaf is a no-fail lettuce here in Central Texas. We have two crops, the spring crop planted in February, and the fall, planted in late September. It is disease and pest resistant, very tasty, and decorative in salads. |

This is the most heat tolerant lettuce I have grown. Even when the weather gets hot it is not bitter. The outer leaves have a soft texture and the innermost ones have a bit of crunch. Vibrant green color is very pretty. We grow this variety every year. |
