Compact plants are a plus for smaller gardens like mine. I found them easy to grow and quite sweet. It was dry here this summer so I did irrigate my plants. Harvest was average- they do need insect pollination so I planted flowers nearby to draw more bees to my plants. |

A nice acorn sized squash, which is great for splitting in half and baking with the centers filled with butter, apples, and brown sugar. It does have a very hard rind, and there fore keeps much better than an acorn squash. It is more vigorous and reliable than most acorns. |

I liked the bushy growth habit. It wasn't the best tasting squash I ever ate, but it had the creamiest flesh of any I have tried. Excellent for soup. My yield was low due to cucumber beetle infestations. I may give it another chance in the future. |

Fruits are small in the 1 pound range with a hard skin. Plant has bush habit making it nice for those with limited space. Eating quality I consider only fair. |
