We had four Horn of Plenty plants, and that was plenty! They started bearing early here in Central Texas, and went right through until the drought hit in August. We gave HoP to neigbors and had plenty for us to eat and to freeze. Strong plants with disease resistance bore squash reliably, and even if I missed one or two in picking and they got past the recommended size of 6" or so, they were still very tasty and tender with a small seed cavity. HoP has become a standard for our garden.

I've grown this for several years, always with good results. Very nice flavor and texture. Very productive (this year I harvested 50 squashes from one plant).

Simply the best yellow crookneck I have grown to date. Great yields, uniform quality. Flavor is not quite as good as the ancient Giant Summer Crookneck, but more than makes up for in production.
