Grew well, but bolted before we could harvest all of it. I was told it tasted good (I dislike Cilantro). |

Good dark green leaf production at 55 to 65 days. Excellent flavor. Maybe slightly slower to bolt than other varieties, but not by much. Good seed production. |

Great germination and growth. Slower to bolt than other varieties I\'ve grown despite hot, dry conditions early on. Even once bolted, lower leaves harvested had good flavour. Harvested seed in late August. |

Most people either love or hate cilantro. If you're like me and you love it, you should grow it. From my experience, if you're growing it in the middle of summer, there's a good chance you won't be able to stop it from bolting. The good thing about cilantro, though, is that the seeds (coriander) are also very useful. When about half of the seeds are brown, cut the stalk and dry it for a few weeks inverted in a paper bag. Then just pull the coriander seeds off of the plant. Two spices for the price of one. |
