I've grown VIT for several years, and there is nothing like going to the cold frame in the middle of winter and gathering enough for a wonderful salad. It has a wonderful buttery, fresh taste. After moving to a warmer climate I'm happy to say that I can now grow it from mid Oct-June.

Needs weeding and very small yield per area because short. Subtle taste. Use as fill-in.
