Sun Exposure: 6 to 8 hours per day

Reseeds itself reliably if a few allowed to bolt. Large purple lambsquarter-like leaves cook dark purple, rich savory flavor when harvested before going to seed. Mixes well in patch with dill, purslane, parsley which also will reseed themselves. Leaf-miners can be controlled in permanent bed like this by keeping affected leaves picked off.
