Planted two seedlings on May 19. Did not thrive in our garden. No disease or insect damage; just didn\'t do that well - leaves looked a bit pale. We prepared the bed just like all the others, so don\'t think it was in need of nutrients. |

Huge, vigorous, tasty, fast to establish, great supply of leaves that keep coming all season. I\'ve seen it bolt in late summer, but not consistently. |

I've grown this parsley several years and wouldn't plant any other commercial variety that I know of. Its easy, prolific and tastes great. The large but tender leaves make for easy harvest. |

I agree with the previous: it is vigorous and tastes great all season. It loved the shady, damp side of the vegetable patch. Twenty small plants turned into a hedge! |

Gigante d'Italia is the parsley to which all other parsley ought to be compared. Vigorous, tasty- strong flavor. |
