Seeded May 7. First melons harvested July 26 (9 pounds). Last one harvested October 1st. VERY productive melon. Great taste - many of my students said they liked it better than the red-fleshed melons. Difficult to tell when it is ripe. |

We had such a cool summer this year I hate to judge this variety too harshly. Very low germination rate. Only got one melon, fairly small but decent, if mild, flavor. I will give it another go. |

Best watermelon I've found for short-season Wyoming. Small "icebox" sized melon with orange flesh. Flesh is crisp, if somewhat seedy, and very sweet, with true watermelon flavor. Yeilds are good - 5-6 watermelons per vine. |
