Excellent melon for me this year. Very productive and easy to grow. This is the best
of the black diamond variety. Great taste.
This will be a permanent melon in my garden.
A top ten melon. |

I have raised Verona's for sale at the farmers market . The reason I raised them was that for a OP watermelon of this size they are fairly early. A bought 2 weeks earlier then Crimson Sweet. Taste wise they were not quite as sweet as the Crimson Sweet. And they were not as deep of red as I like. But over all a pretty good OP watermelon. |

This melon is essentially an improved Black Diamond. It is large, mine average better than 30 lbs, Taste is essentially the same as Black Diamond, but more unform. No white hearts. |
