A very popular cultivar in the southeast, probably because Bonnie sells the plants. It is a pretty smooth leaf cultivar that tolerates heat well. Not as appealing as a savoyed spinach, but reliable.

I planted this spinach for a fall crop. It came up patchy, but we had a hot spell after I planted. What did come up grew very slowly and was not productive. The leaves were a shiny green, not at all like at the grocery store. I would give it another chance because of the weather, but not expect much.
