I love this spinach! Several years ago I cleared the salad garden for the winter, and after a snow storm, I noticed something green growing. I walked out in 20 degree weather, and found Hector still growing unprotected. I've enjoyed growing it ever since. Sadly this year it looks like no-one is carrying the seed any longer. I'm hoping someone realizes how wonderful it is, so that more gardeners will discover this versatile vegetable.
