| Spring crop produded a good deal of the small ,crunchy and tasty pods. I tend to feel these are more of a novelty item though. Something fun to try, new and different (for me at least) and pretty easy to grow. They never did form a bulb worth eating, then again our weather turned hot early so many plants bolted early.
The flavor is distinctly radish, although not as spicy-hot. Good crunchy texture, but they must be harvested as soon as they fill in as they toughen rather quickly.
These might make a good alternative for those who have trouble with growing good regular radishes. |
