I got my German Fingerlings from Jung seeds and they are different from the Russian varieties I think. The thing with the Fingerling is you HAVE TO WATER THEM in the secret as they are late season plants as in August to September, BUT if you water them the small tubers will get almost as big as Russet and you will get buckets of fingerlings of all sizes to almost 2 to 1 for other varieties. They are waxy and make the best potatoe salad and are fine for soups and fried potatoes.

This potato holds together well after cooking making it an excellent salad or soup potato.Good taste and texture. It was only moderate in production for me, but I would grow again.
