| Great beet. Grows extremely well in full sun. Does fine in part sun as well. I grew some under a honey locust and they matured about 2 weeks later than those in full sun. They reached a good size in both locations.
Excellent taste. Very easy to grow. I will continue to grow this variety. |

| This has been the best standard red beet we have found, no question. Best germination; steady growth, and reasonably uniform results. Keep water consistent and regular for best results. We plant some in the spring and some in the fall and get good results from both sets. |

| A nice \"typical\" beet that grew well in our garden and didn\'t get \"woddy\" despite being \"neglected\" of harvesting for a while. Leaves were very pretty and tasted good cooked as well. |

| This is an excellent beet for this area. Beets do not get as large as Detroit Dark Red, but here they are much sweeter. I don\'t eat beet greens, but the tops are slightly larger than most cultivars. The whole plant is quite vigorous, which is important here. |

| Good germination. Nice looking round red beet with tasty tops. I was surprised to find these beets had the concentric rings - which were a tad bit fibrous. I found the roots to not be as flavorful as Detroit Dark Red. Plus they were a bit watery. However, I read they are grown mostly for tops. Now I wonder if the seed company (I don't know which one) got the seed mixed up. I didn't think Early Wonder had rings. At any rate, it's back to Detroit Red for me. I would prefer a beet with tasty roots AND tops! |

| We are certified organic and this beet comes up fast and the germination is always good. The greens are as important to us as the root, and this plant has a tall, beautiful leaf. We plant about 30 acres of beets and have found this one to be the most reliable for us. |
