Good producer of large, tomatillos with a light sweet pineapple tang which turn yellow-green at maturity, but can be used green as well. I had trouble getting plants started indoors ( have to start indoors early so they will produce before frost), but had this trouble with all 3 tomatillo varieties, only had a few seeds sprout. I can tomatillo green sauce which is good on mexican food, meat, chicken, etc. Use the Ball Blue Book tomatillo salsa recipe. |

Good taste fresh and dry well for use in pastries or to eat as a snack. A neat novelty to try. |
