Good producer of large, tomatillos with a light sweet pineapple tang which turn yellow-green at maturity, but can be used green as well. I had trouble getting plants started indoors ( have to start indoors early so they will produce before frost), but had this trouble with all 3 tomatillo varieties, only had a few seeds sprout. I can tomatillo green sauce which is good on mexican food, meat, chicken, etc. Use the Ball Blue Book tomatillo salsa recipe.

Good taste fresh and dry well for use in pastries or to eat as a snack. A neat novelty to try.
