| A very tasty bean. Somewhat reasonable yield with a much cooler than normal summer in upstate NY. We still prefer the Blue Lake for the best flavorfull choice, along with being a gold medal producer. |

| Lots of folks do not like flat podded snap beans. For those that do, this is a good one. I have grown it from Virginia to Georgia and it yields with the best of them. Flavor is not quite as good as the Tennessee Green Pod, but is much more prolific. They must be picked young as they do get more fibrous as they get beany. |

| This variety showed some promise of being a good, productive early bean in our hot climate. But when the temperatures climbed into the high nineties, the beans toughened and the light-colored plants sunburned badly. If you have bought seed for this variety and live where it heats up early, you may wish make a gift of bean seeds to someone in a more moderate climates.

| It is an old variety of bush bean that I have grown off and on for 30+ years. It is very early and has good yields and taste. It is kind of like an old standard dependable variety |
