Frost Free Season: 143 - 163 days
Soil Texture: Loam
Garden Size: Large - More than 1,600 square feet (40' x 40')
Sun Exposure: More than 8 hours per day

Compact 16" true-bush plants bear surprisingly large beans (32 per ounce dry) 3-5 per pod. Green shell quality unremarkable, due to a fairly thick skin. The pods & thick skin give little protection to the dry seed, however; many were damaged by moisture, significantly reducing the total yield of good seed. Probably best adapted to areas where late summer rains are infrequent.
