I used burpee's bean booster when planting these and WOW! super numbers of thick larger than advertised beans. My harvested beans averaged around 7-8 inches long and were thicker than pencils yet still crunchy , flavorful and easy to chew...hence tender. No touch skinned beans here! Awesome too freeze or batter and deepfry aside from the standard preparations associated with beans. I am keeping this as my green variety string bean and highly recommend them for their quality and long harvest capabilities.

Iv've grown this as my standard bush green bean for years. It is a reliable producer and I don't think there are any better of this type. Having discovered French filet beans, I decreased the amount I grow of this type.
