I grew dry beans from beans I obtained for cooking from Rancho Gordo. They were labeled "Yellow Eye Beans" and I believe they are most likely Kenearly but they may be some other variety. I didn\'t plant many, they were highly prolific and I harvest about a quart and a half of dried beans.I chose to plant these because I love how they taste when cooked. They are firm and retain their shape when cooked, they also retain the yellow eye markings. They are one of my favorites. I will for sure grow them in the future. had no disease problems. I had major slug problems throughout my garden and the slugs loved all 3 varieties of beans I planted, including these.I recommend these.
