This old pole bean is very competitive with Kentucky Wonder here. It does have strings, but great flavor when cooked in the traditional southern style. Long pods make for easy picking.

Outstanding flavor, but texture can get tough, and quality is not outstanding (not a smooth soft bean). These had plenty of vine but few beans.
