As I said in my review of tomatos last year was our first year on our farm. Boy did I screw things up Planted these beans in mid March 2 forty foot rows. I got 2 plants By mid June I replanted and even with the season so late got good results. Like I said thought I knew it all. Very poor soil and total lack of knowledge. Felt like Oliver on Green Acres. Second planting yielded real well. These I do eat. For flavor they can not be beat and freeze very well. Spent all fall and winter getting an education on nothering vegtable farming. I grew up in Central Florida. Big world of differance in growing conditions Should have paid closer attention in FFA classes Anyway this year is a differant plan of action and will post results on all the differant vegtables we are growing. Like I said for ease of growing and taste great bean

This is my favorite Italian bean and also my customers. They have made converts of many who have never tried this type of bean. Sweet, nutty flavor and only require light steaming. Excellant for freezing for winter use. Can get tough if left to get too big. I like to pick before the inside bean gets too large and prominant.

This cultivar does not perform at all here. Probably a good bean in a different soil type or further north.

Fast and bountiful crop. No pest or disease problems at all (with organic fertilizers). Can grow two crops in same space in a season, with organic soil amendments after first crop. Chicken wire fence in dome over the young plants discourage deer, who love them.
