Does well in crappy clay soil. My first time veggie gardening in 2008 and I did not "fix" my soil. Top Crop was one of the few veggies that came up and did well.

A solid performer, But there are several cultivars that I like better. A very popular bean in the fifties and sixties, that has given way to Contender and Blue Lake.
