This is my favorite sweet corn variety. It is a super-dwarf sized stalk (4-5 feet) which can help with planting density and yield per sq. ft. It is also the earliest sweet corn variety I have ever grown, coming in well before other early varieties trialed against. This meant I was harvesting ears before the corn earworm had a chance to hatch and begin feeding (I lost most other varieties to earworm damage). Also showed resistance to corn smut, when others succumbed. The yield I gave 4-stars due to the smaller ears than expected, but we did have a very dry July here right at the point of formation, so that may have had something to do with it. Will plant again!

I planted this corn 2 seasons in a row. Excellent taste. Easy to grow. Small kernels. Produced 1 ear per stalk (the 2nd ear did not develop). Great for freezing.

Very early corn up here on the Canadian border. Excellent flavor and sweetness. Very small plant that can be closely spaced.
