Hybrid, midseason, sugar-enhanced (se+), bicolor corn with 8- to 9-inch ears with 16 to 20 rows of small kernels and dark-green husks providing fair cover and flags. 6 1/2- to 7 1/2-foot plants. Tolerant of Stewart's wilt and common rust. Plant in warm soil.

Delectable is not competitive with other cultivars under my conditions. It may be one of the many cultivars that does better in the north. It fares poorly in hot dry conditions, compared to Silver Princess, Silver King, Augusta, Peaches and Cream ... |

A great SE variety, true to description. Disease tolerant and stands well in wind. Grown past 4 years. Also grown by many commercial growers in this area. Good ear cover for bird protection and easy picking. |
