My favorite se corn up to now, and local growers to whom I had given seeds to try all adopted it. The most productive corn in the 20 or so I have grown, most often 3 ears ( the third , smaller most of the time) when planted at 6 inches, 1 or 2 at 4 inches. HUGE cob ( always make people react with Oh! and Ah!) of small and narrow but deep kernels, tender pericarp, excellent corn flavor although very sweet, an overall crowd pleaser, just let it grow past prime milk stage for a more corny flavor. The most productive corn I have grown up to now by weight of kernels. It is a ''Bodacious'' flavor wise ( yellow kernels only too), and on steroids production wise, as one will freeze more pounds of kernels out of Merlin. Very highly recommended. Anybody who loves and grow Bodacious should try this one.
