Description: Open-pollinated, late-season, ornamental corn with 6- to 7-inch ears with 8 rows of gold, orange, red, and purple kernels. 5-foot plants. Tolerates high winds, cold soil and nights, as well as hot days and drought. Soft starch kernels used for flour, hominy, parched or eaten fresh on the cob.

This corn is the earliest to tassel in my garden. It grows readily in cold spring soil. It produces dried down flour (or decorative) corn a month before other flour/flint corns are killed by frost. (I think the description calling it late season should be modified.)
