Yielded well throughout the season, in a season when my other eggplants didn't do as well. Very good taste.

Earlier than most eggplants. Produces well and quickly. Stands up well to heat. Medium size glossy fruits. Inferior to Ichiban but earlier. Good for anyone that wishes to be the first to pick eggplant.

Early yield is excellent but falls off quickly. A good one to start with until standards come in.

I was not as impressed wtih this variety as I am with Ichiban, another similar Asian type. It produced a week earlier, but overall the yield was lower, as it slowed down; maybe due to the hot weather, though it didn't start up again when it got cooler, as some do. Flavor was good, but mild, and there was no bitterness, even later in the season, when fruits seemed to be maturing very small, and getting seedy.

Unbelievable earliness and cold tolerance for an eggplant. However, yields and glossy appearance decline about the time the big eggplants mature.
