Planted two seedlings on May 19. Healthy plants with a medium yield. (Very pretty pepper!) |

This is a great pepper for looks, yield, and reliability. It is also early. I marked taste as average, as it\'s just like any other sweet pepper. When red, it is much sweeter, though then it\'s not it\'s beautiful lavender color. The only negative is that when lavender, it cooks to a grayish color. |

I was not wowed by this pepper. The plants did well, with plenty of big beautiful purple peppers, despite less than ideal conditions this summer. I did not think it was particularly tasty and was disappointed that the peppers turned yellow/grey when cooked. |

This was a very expensive but excellent pepper for me. Because the purple color shows up when the peppers are still immature, the plant continues to pump out peppers if you harvest them at the purple stage. As a result I got a pretty peck of purple peppers out of my plants. The only downside was a slight bitter note to the taste of the flesh that you sometimes get with green peppers. All in all, a very good pepper. I would grow this again. |
