Good plants and some green peppers, but disappointment waiting for red peppers that did not turn red. I\'m moving on to other varieties in search of a pepper that will turn red in zone 5b.

Twice I tried this one also due to it supposedly doing well in northern areas. I harvested 1 decent pepper and generally a half dozen golfball sized peppers from each plant. Not exactly worth the effort growing this one, as many other varieties have provided better for me up here in watertown n.y. Despite King Of The North's claim to be a northern pepper! I did have ZERO pest or disease issues which was its main bonus besides they were tasty and thick walled.

I grew this since it is supposed to be good for northern growers. It was not very productive but had great growth. The other varieties I tried did better.

This is an old time open pollinated bell that I have not grown since the 60's. It did pretty well in SW Virginia, but many of the newer OP's are better all around.

Big strong plant but I only got 2 big and one small peppers per plant. None turned red before the frost in October.
