I got my seeds from Burgess. They were inexpensive. These peppers did quite well. They seemed a bit slow to start producing, but when they got started the yield was very good, the peppers were a nice blocky shape, a nice intense green, and were medium-large. They had fairly thick walls - not as thick as some hybrids probably, but not as thin as banana types. Taste was juicy, sweet and excellent. They are worth growing. I will probably try some others, however, just to see if I can grow peppers with thicker walls. Still, this one was a nice surprise, especially since it is open-pollinated and seeds were cheap! I may well come back to this one. |
