This variety is really good for producing red bell peppers in the Northeast. Very productive, and handles the vagaries of weather. Unfortunately the flavor is quite bland. I\'ve grown this variety for several years and will be switching to something that taste more than what is normally in the market.

I grew these this year for the first time. They are a bit bitter for my taste, but the yields here in the northern foothills are hard to beat. I am still searching for a productive, sweeter pepper in the cold, but I might continue to grow these in order to have *some* peppers. I cut them up small and freeze them so I don\'t have to bite into a sizable piece.

Very good pepper for short-season Wyoming. Reliably sets good crop of medium-size peppers. Good flavor. Benefits from black plastic mulch.

Very reliable and highly productive variety. A standard in my garden for nearly 20 years. Benefits from use of black plastic mulch and raised beds in my area.

The most reliable bell pepper in our semi high desert climate - they aren't very large, but they produce fruit and ripen to red earlier than anything else.

The only pepper variety (outside of jalapeno) that I can reliably count on to ripen to red within our fairly short growing season. (They may say "frost free," but we really only ever have 90 days of good growing weather).

This variety is a standard in my garden and a reliable producer. Good for the backyard gardener. Good fruit set.
