I grew Red Knight from seed--very nice output and strong plants. However, after transplanting out, we had a very wet summer, which stressed the plants, making them susceptible to insect damage. Hardly any yield and never reached maturity before falling off the plant. I believe it was less the fault of the plant than the weather this year. I would try this one again, however.

This pepper is the one that I let all the fruit to go to red. I do not pick any of these until they are very red. This is probably why I feel the yield is less than great. The fruits are as described, just wonderful. Nice red color, easy to pick, nice sized, thick walled and sweet. These peppers seem to have a better than shelf life at my house than other red peppers.

We have grown Red Knight for several years and find it is a good large, early bearing pepper. A reliable producer.
