We've grown this in coastal Los Angeles three years in a row. One pepper suffices to add some, but not too much, heat to a stir fry for two people who like heat but can't deal with a lot of heat. Produces earlier than most peppers begun at the same time, and fruit is uniform and attractive, growing straight up until it approaches maturity.

I grow these almost every year. Have had very good luck with them. They are very good in stir fry, tomato sauce or in a pickle mixture.

Out west, these don't really work well for me. A Warm to hot pepper, these don't have the rich flavor I like in a pepper of this type. I had a lot of peppers with a soft brown area near the tip. They don't seem to like the hot summers as well as some other varieties, with quality dropping markedly.

I always have good luck with these. They don't need a lot of attention once they are in the ground. Very prolific.

Along with Cherry Bomb, this is reliable and prolific. Have seen over 30 fruits on one plant. Good for pickling as you can use the whole range of colors: light yellow, orange, red. Also good for adding heat to stir fries and sauces. We grow ten or more hot peppers each year, but this is a must grow.
