Great pepper if you want a bit of heat but don't need a full jalapeno. The produce quickly and often. This has been a consistent pepper for me year after year. It is a nice complement to jalapenos and cayenne long slims. You don't need very many of them. They don't dry like the cayenne, they don't fry like the mucho nacho, but they give you consistent heat through the summer. |

This has been my main crop hot pepper since I discovered it roughly 7 years ago. It is trouble-free (does need a wire cage to support loaded branches against cracking), yields abundantly and the pepper has an excellent flavor and level of moderate-high heat. I use it extensively in cooking (soups, stews, and stir fries), as well as home-made salsa. I slice excess peppers in half and dehydrate, then grind to make my own hot pepper flakes. (Washington DC, not county!) |

tomatogrowers.com. Harvested a bunch from two abundant plants. The ripe red ones are more difficult to clean, most turn to mush under the flame. Green ones are easier, but I’m not going to use them again, very small and hard to handle. The Mucho Nacho Hybrid are a much better choice for hot chilies. |

This variety is perfect for making pepper sauce. Plants are carefree and you can expect huge yields of 2 inch peppers. |

This pepper is somewhat difficult to dry here in the finger lakes region of NY. It's good tasting - on a par with Fish, but hotter. It's really a Carribean type flavor. I enjoyed it this year, but it's probably not worth the space, in the future. |

Lots of heat, more than jalapeno, more heat than flavor. A really strong yielding pepper, but these are small, and the plants are spindely and weak. Bright red ripe color very decorative. |
