This is a great pablano type. I've grown it two years now and find it prolific with large dark green fruit. Never got more than a few bronze colored before frost. The walls were on the thin side and had the distinctive long and deep set stems. The flavor is slightly hot - enough to make it interesting, but not too much to handle. Will make it a mainstay to my garden.

We have had excellent results with this poblano in several years of growing it in upstate NY. The plants get two feet tall or higher and are covered with beautiful large dark green fruits. No pest or disease problems, drought tolerant, no rot. We harvest it green for sauteeing and sell to a caterer for rellenos. Spicy flavor does not appeal to everyone. While not super hot it will sting, especially the insides. Not many ripen to red in our climate.

This pepper did not do well in my garden (Virginia mountains): the fruits were prolific, but very prone to sun scald. Fruits were large and thick-walled. I found the taste too bitter for stuffing (rellenos) and the flesh too thick and juicy for drying (chili powder).
