Have had great luck with this variety. Seems to grow vigorously, even if planted late. Large and strong flavored cloves.

Music is ok but I am not sure why it is so popular. There are others that produce a larger and better bulb.

This is the standard garlic around here, and it has done well for us. Bulbs are large and white, with 4 to 7 large cloves, but generally 5 or 6. Ours has always stored well but we have been careful to cure it properly, and not let it get too cold in storage, which will cause sprouting. It is a fairly middle of the road garlic flavour, not too hot or too mild. Nice.

I've been growing Music for several years, and it is very reliable to produce medium to large bulbs. It has a nice heat that is not overbearing and which it partially retains after cooking. For a hardneck it stores well. Storage seems to be inhanced if the garlic is harvested a couple days earlier than my routines normally inform me.

The most delicious garlic, I find it grows better farther north (I have my brother grow it for me in his zone 3- 4 garden instead of my zone 5) and this greatly improves yield and flavor. I've seen rave reviews from down south, but if you are a northern gardener, I highly suggest it! I haven't tried saving it, it's too delicious to eat.

The largest garlic I have ever grown, and large cloves, as well, which is good for those of us who use large amounts of garlic. The only drawback was storage - it did not store as well as most others I have grown, and this was next to smaller varieties with less skins on them, which should have dried out first. Now I know, and will simply use this first, and make sure I plant some that store well.

A very reliable producer of big bulbs here in NH. I get up to 4 oz bulbs. Garlic is mild compared to the georgians or rojo, but tasty. Easy to grow, mine stores about 6 months in an unheated garage. Proper handling (no bruising) and drying is very important to storage

Music is the most commonly grown garlic in Ontario. Large bulbs. 4-5 cloves. Good strong initial taste but not overpowering. You will note a continued residual warmth as well. Stores very well (6 month +) if dried properly.

The taste is great . I love the large easy peel cloves . One of our best hardnecks here in NC after 7 years of growing.

This variety seemed identical in my trials to the "Extra Hardy German" variety also listed here. It produced the same large cloves and heads and was of the Continental type. To comment on the other review, I would say that 4/5 months is about average keeping for the hardneck varieties. Don't store it in the refrigerator - too humid. Drier is better.

Last season my crop deteriorated after 4 to 5 months storage. This year, I will store them in the refrigerator crisper to see if they keep better. Otherwise, they were wonderful tasting with large cloves. Easy to grow.
