Only grew once. No better than Tiny Tim, which I love because of its shade tolerance.

This is my first time growing Red Robin. I have 3 fabulous healthy plants grown from seed, indoors under T5 6400K grow lights in a south facing window. It is winter here and the days tend to be cloudy. They are very sturdy little plants. Mine are loaded with blossoms after I gave them repeated weak solutions of tomato fertilizer. I provide the fertilizer via bottom watering in a saucer underneath black plastic nursery pots. Water is not allowed to stand in the saucer. I am gently jostling the plant to hopefully get pollination to happen. If it works, these little tomato plants will be loaded with fruits.

If you approach Robin knowing you have a conversation piece of a tomatoe which is minature like a bonsai, then you will not take it serious as it should not be. It is a fun little plant to grow in a planter like flower. It will though only produce about a dozen quarter size fruits of grocery store flavor tomatoes. The plants are tough little buggers though for heat, wind and quite "thick". Just remember it is for fun or if you are locked on the 47th floor of a miserable city and just need a tomatoe to grow to give you the spice of life.
