Planted this variety in 2007 & 2008. Excellent taste. Deep kernels. 2007 had a good yield. but in 2008 many stalks did not yield ears. Many ears were only partially developed. That may be because I did not tend it too carefully. Next time will try drip irrigation and additional fertilizer while growing. Definitely worth it!

I also tried Vision as a replacement for Northern Extra Sweet. The taste is outstanding; based on two years, Vision does not germinate quite as well and more second ears are only partially fertilized. Still a great corn, however.

I tried this variety because Johnny's Selected Seeds recommended it as a replacement for Northern Xtra-Sweet which I had always grown. My family loved it! It was almost as early as Northern Xtra-Sweet and had better flavor, was much more tender and kept better. It is the best sweet corn I have ever eaten.
