This squash had very slow early growth possibly because of crowding in the bed, had a vine borer which one of the volunteers apparently killed. Later it was attacked by squash bugs. It flowered buy never fruited. |

The plant germinated, but did not grow much because it was shaded by all the other plants in its small bed. |

Nice variety of squash, good germination and growth, produced well, tasty. Produced late into the season with no problems, would recommend. |

Our Summer Squash grew well despite borers (Recommend planting it later, after borer season depending on your location). We cut the base (though we did not find the borer), and covered it with soil. The plant grew well and produced a fair amount of tasty squash, but the plant did get a severe case of powdery mildew even though this variety is supposedly mildew resistant. Note: our beds are watered with drip irrigation, so the only overhead watering is with rain. Even with this factor, the plant got severe powdery mildew. |
