We have trialed about 25 varieties of tomatoes this year. Momotaro is among the best tasting. The skin is very thin, and the flavor is intense, complex, and wonderful. More than one person in our gardening group would rank it above Brandywine and Cherokee Purple, which are also favorites.

Similar to Odoriko in vigor and productivity, but the fruit are a lighter shade of pink and are sweeter, rather than rich. Performed well even in the middle of a long, hot summer.

This pink had very good flavor but wasn't very productive or early in my Northern VA garden. I will try it again but so far it does not compare well with Caspian Pink or Brandywine.

Good balanced flavor. Nice perfect pink market sized fruit. Nice in salad. Will grow again.
