I received seeds from a fellow gardener. The seeds were at least 5 years old, so my expectations of germination were low. What did sprout turned out to be very healthy plants, grown under T5 grow lights and subjected to repeated top pinching because I started them too early indoors. The stems thickened up rapidly. I let them develop multiple main stems as a trial run. Once transplanted into 8 gallon planters, the plants went crazy, growing tall and bearing lots of small to medium size tomatoes. Talk about monster size tomato taste in a small package. I sliced them fresh and put them on toast with mayonnaise. Definitely going to grow these again. I have a short growing season, so smaller tomato varieties are a must, especially in my little container farm.

Grows well here in New Mexico. Sprawling vines produced a large number of small ruffled fruit with very assertive flavor. Did fine with the heat and drought last year.

This is the first year we have grown this variety. I think have fallen in love with it! The fruits are very small, but it is the first tomato that I have found to have the taste and texture of the larger varieties such as brandywine. It is a juicy, meaty tomato like its big brothers. I expect that each plant will produce somewhere around 75+ fruits over the season. The other attractive (to me) thing about the fruit is that they are kind of gnarly and wrinkled. Very cool for such a small tomato.
