Very good flavor overall, but got starchy a bit quickly. When I got it in prime milk stage, the flavor was very good with good corn flavor. Starchy was difficult. At that point, it was a bit too tough steamed (though the flavor was still OK). However the flavor was delicate enough that it didn't stand up to roasting as well as I would have hoped. Very good overall but timing is important.
