I tried 5 different types of spinach (Tyee, Olympia, Nordic IV, Indian Summer and Razzle Dazzle) all at the same time so they could be evaluated under identical growing conditions. This was porbably the best of the lot, although Tyee and Olympia were close behind. Nordic IV got my nod because it stood in pickable condition the longest. Harvest time was about 43 days from a March 30 sowing date. It\'s still cold with cold nights and short days here near Seattle. In more southerly climates it would probably grow faster.
