This is now a favorite. It is a thick-walled conical pepper, up to 6 inches long. It's a 'gourmet' variety in Spain, and you can sometimes get them here in their canned state (this is how they are most enjoyed in Spain too). The flavor is wonderful, if allowed to fully mature and then roast. They have practically no heat, though sometimes there is some. Some misinformed sites out there say it's hot but that is most likely to the misinterpretation of it being called a chile! They are very early for me (to green stage), and do very well with cool nights. Productivity can sometimes be very high, but averages moderately high. It's one of the most productive open-pollinated varieties I've grown.

I found this variety to be a superior pepper for overall production. It set fruit late but it produced an excellent pepper for roasting. It has thick flesh which stood up to fire roasting, pealed well and froze beautifully.

"Boring" is the best word to describe this pepper. It grew well, produced moderately, and the peppers were...meh. It's not a bad pepper, but there are similar varieties that have far better taste.
