this was my first time growing pole beans and i grew gold of bacau and kentuckyn wonder using the 3 sosters method what a delightful surprise i found the gold of bacau to be.. they were sweet succulent aand had a somewhat starchy quality to them.. i planted them very late in june but still had a very heacvy yield from 4 different hills.. they are a must for my 2012 garden.. interestingly i sell at a local farmers market and had a customer from romania that bought all the gold of bacau i could grow this past season
