This grew like crazy the fist summer from seed, and I was able to pick stems easily within months. It can grow huge stalks and leaves. Very vigorous. Mostly green stems, but more rosy near the bottoms, as the weather gets colder.\r\nIt produces many stalks and seeds, if you allow it. It is gorgeous like a tropical plant. \r\nTastes great in a pie or a crisp or chopped up in muffins.\r\nI think this is year 3 and it has been very dependable. Almost pest free. It can take up a 4’ x4’ area when mature so space accordingly.

I received Glaskin\'s seeds for this variety from Territorial Seed Company, and the germination was excellent. After 3 years of plant that barely got a foot tall, I\'m replacing them with something more dependable.
