Good germination. Fairly fast growth from seedling to fruit. The first pod I harvested was fairly bland; really no flavor or character whatsoever. The later fruits were spicy and hotter than I expected. Frequent harvesting promotes additional growth of peppers. I picked the first peppers while green but I won't start picking again until they are yellow. Proper fertilization (ample phosphorus) is essential to get blooms. Will plant this easy-to-grow variety again. |

Excellent year for peppers. This particular variety, I planted 4 plants. Very healthy, got lots of sunlight, multiple yields due to regular harvesting. Got approximatly 6-lbs so far. 6-8 inch peppers produced, mild-medium flavor and hottness. Very good when sauteed, or cooked with tomato sauce. Interested in other cooking ideas. Low maintenance. |
