| This tomato out-produced every other variety in my garden last year - like the energizer bunny, it kept going and going. It was the first to set fruit, first to ripen, and I picked about 50 green ones (from one plant!) the day before the first freeze. The flavor is quite good, and it's an attention-getter in the garden. I had no disease or cracking problems. My one complaint - the skin is tough. |

| I love green zebra, and I got this variety in the hopes that it would turn some of my multi-color fearing family onto that great tomato. It was the greatest dissappointment in my garden. The flavor is a slight step up from supermarket tomatoes. And although there was a decent showing of tomatoes, it took so long to mature, it's only novelty was the stripe. Also the plant was quickly decimated by blight, something I was actually happy about as it gave more room for my other plants. In short, just not worth it! |

| I grew RZ for the first time this year from Baker Creek.The flavor was pretty good,and liked the looks of the tomato and the plant.No problem with blight.
The one drawback for me was the very tough skin.Other than that,about a 6 out of 10 on my scale.I'll grow it again for sure |

| I only grew this once, and it was not nearly as good as it's brother, the Green Zebra, as it's fruits were slightly smaller and more prone to cracking, the plants were shorter - about 3' - and they all contracted a blight toward the end of the season, which only infected a few leaves of the green zebras right next to them. The flavor was very much the same as green zebra - the only redeeming quality. I have since tried a similar, but what seems to be better tomato - RED LIGHTNING - and the flavor is still there, but some of the problems are gone. |
