| The rich taste of this tomato was a huge improvement over regular yellow pear tomatoes. The plant grew rapidly for most of the season and had to be pruned several times. It bore huge quantities of golden yellow fruit for most of the season, but succumbed to stem blight in October. |

| As remarkable as the color, shape and productivity is this fruits (I can't bring myself to call it a tomato) lack of flavor. It really is bizarre to have something tangible touch your palate, roll over your taste buds and leave you absolutely wondering what is in your mouth, confident though it is not a tomato. Put it in salads and let the dressing flavor it. |

| Some people either love or hate Yellow Pear--I love it! It is mild tasting, children will be very fond of this tomato. It's a fave garden snack for me. The plant is huge and produces a lifetime supply of small yellow, pear-shaped fruits. They can reseed so if you don't want more of them the following Spring, then do a good garden clean-up in late Autumn. |
